Join the Conversation

My friend Bobbie posted a comment yesterday that got me thinking. Her perspective is one I've never really considered before. And I thought it would provide some really great fodder for healthy discussion among Christian brothers and sisters.

And what better place for discussion than the modern hub of conversation - Facebook?

So if you're not already a fan, stop in and like my Facebook page, then join the conversation.

I want to hear what you think. :-)

  1. I think that we should be very in tune with the Holy Spirit....doing all he has asked us to do and being fruitful for the Kingdom of God! That may mean many different things for many different people. I think the key is to be present and engaged in each season of life, doing all we can with the gifts, power and grace that God has so freely given us :D
    Thanks for getting me thinking!

I think it is, generally, important that we get paid our due for what we do. I do not think we should cheat to get more, or create work that doesn't need doing. I also think that sometimes we need to work because it needs doing not for the financial reward.
I could make more money than I do currently, in a variety of ways, but that would mean spending less time with my family, cheating, earning more than the going rate for what I do and generally not being honest, happy and fulfilled - so I don't agree with your friend, no.

I am so glad you stopped by! My hope is that we can engage in a conversation together. I love to reply to your comments, but I need your help to make that happen.

If you have a blogger profile, would you consider editing your profile to "show my email address?" Then, when I receive your comment in my email inbox, I can reply directly to you.

Alternately, you can check the box "email follow up comments to..." so that I can reply to you right here. (You will also receive other readers' comments using this method.)

I'm excited to get to know you better!
