Fb or God first? Breakfast or God first? Call my sister and chat or God first? I do all of those things almost every day, but I find that if I choose to spend time with God first, then I will always get to the other things. But if I do the other things first, God keeps getting pushed to the "next" spot and that time never comes.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01979663364547240191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-478973400022206891.post-8279321340924804622011-06-13T10:51:48.835-06:002011-06-13T10:51:48.835-06:00Tim McVey in his Bible study, The Grace Walk Exper...Tim McVey in his Bible study, The Grace Walk Experience, says almost the same thing. If we're under grace (which we are), then saying do this, do that, in this way....etc., becomes legalism. But when we take a look at ideas that work for others and then just ask God to help us - we're exactly in the place He wants us to be and He will help us to develop the discipline. And it truly is a discipline - God may create in us a desire to know Him more, to walk with Him more, etc., but out of our love for Him and in obedience to Him, we still need to be available and do our part.

FriedaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
